Zhuhai High Speed Ferry Company has ordered another CoCo Yachts Coastal Cruiser vessel, this time a CC-300.
The Coastal Cruiser 300 will be made of marine grade aluminium. The hulls are optimised with CFD calculations to provide excellent sea keeping performance in combination with low fuel consumption. The CC-300 will have two (2) MTU 16V4000M70 main diesel engines, one (1) fitting in each engine room. Each main engine will drive one (1) Rolls Royce S71G4 water jet through a ZF7600 gearbox.

On October 29, 2018, Plenty Ships Zhuhai has delivered the 7th CoCo Yachts designed Coastal Cruiser 199 to Peng Xing ferry Co. During the years the design has been changed quite a lot due to updates of the China Classification rules, and the fact that all new high-speed vessels running between China and Hong Kong must be IMO-HSC-2000 compliant. Also, the new bridge, running from Hong Kong to Macau, has limited the allowed air draft of the ferries.

On March 27th, 2019, the CoCo Yachts designed, and Plenty Ships build fast ferries Xin Hai Tian of Zhuhai High Speed Ferry Company has been taken into service, and had her maiden voyage in the Pearl River Delta.
 
During sea trials the totally new designed ferry reached a speed of 28.8 knots @ 95% MCR.
The Xin Hai Tian will sail in service between Zhuhai and the islands in the Pearl River delta.
